Yesterday evening I picked a random book in my study. Closed my eyes and picked a random sentence. My finger pointed at this 1,850 year old sentence (Book IV, 10):
"Observe then as thou hast begun; and whatever thou doest, do it in conjunction with this, the being good, and in the sense in which a man is properly understood to be good."
Properly understood? Good?
